La Villa Mahana restaurant in Bora Bora is hands down the best restaurant on the island. Owned and operated by Chef Damien Rinaldi Dovio and his wife. The restaurant has an intimate setting outside on the patio. The portions are a good size, and the wine pairing is spot on. The preparation and presentation are something the Chef takes incredible pride in. Book well in advance as seating is limited, and you will not be disappointed.
On our visit to La Villa Mahana restaurant, Jason and I decided to try the tasting menus. We wanted to try as much variety as possible. Below are the different selections we had.

Thon Rouge a La Vinille – Seared Ahi Tuna with Vanilla Oil. Paired with Champagne Brut
Mahi Mahi Curry et Banane – Mahi Mahi with Curry and Banana, Mango Sauce, Mashed Sweet Potatoes. Paired with Sauvignon Blanc.
Filet de Bceuf a La Vanille de Tahiti & Gnocchi a La Creme de Parmesan – Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Red Wine Vanilla Sauce, Creamy Gnocchi. Paired with Cabernet Sauvignon
Banana Flambee au Vieux rhum des Isles & Glace a La Vanille de Tahiti – Banana Flambe with Old Rum and Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream. Paired with Sauternes.
