Aloe Cafe is located in Vaitape which is the main city of Bora Bora island. Just across the street from the Chin Lee grocery store and tucked in the back of the Le Pahia Shopping Center is where you will find the Cafe. Here, you can sip a cold drink of your choice while checking email or surfing the net and, at the same time, get a delicious lunch or breakfast.
Restaurant Aloe Cafe is well known in Bora Bora for its delicious fresh pastries and homemade ice cream. They have a selection of sweet foods that attract a steady stream of locals from around the island daily to see what’s new.
Jessica and I were both delighted to enjoy a nice meal at a decent price. We were a little tired of eating fish, so we decided to change it up. I got the Spaghetti Bolognaise ($18 USD), which was delicious!
The bacon burger with a fried egg ($18 USD) was also pretty good. It was served with a nice sizeable fresh salad.
Aloe Cafe also serves an excellent selection of drinks, from hard-to-get Belgian beers to mixed tropical cocktails. We tried the Mai Tai and Pina Colada (Both $13 USD). They were served in large glasses and packed a punch. There are not too many choices for food/drinks in Vaitape, but Aloe Cafe is worth checking out.
OPEN: Monday to Saturdays (9am-1:30pm, then 4pm-6pm), Closed Sundays.
