Looking for cheap eats with a great view in Bora Bora?, then the Snack Moi Here restaurant is an excellent choice. Just steps from an incredible blue lagoon and located on the white sand beach of Matira Point is this little-thatched hut that serves up a decent meal without the expensive price tag found at the big international resorts.
The Snack Moi Here restaurant is situated just off the main road that loops around Bora Bora’s main inner island, about a 10-minute drive from Vaitape. There is a place to park your car for Matira beach just next door. You are also within walking distance from the InterContinental Le Moana Resort and the Hotel Maitai Polynesia.
The seating area of the restaurant has a great view of the beach. Locals and visitors not staying at the big private resorts often hang out at Matira beach all day long, soaking up the warm tropical sun.
The point has some of the most amazing clear water on the entire island, and the water is shallow enough to walk pretty far out. There is a small reef for snorkeling and don’t be surprised if you see some locals paddle up in a canoe, get out, grab some snacks and then paddle away.
After hours of relaxing, Jason and I decided to try Snack Moi Here restaurant because it was close and reasonably affordable. Here’s your basic burger and fries meal. The food is average, but the staff is very friendly.
When visiting Bora Bora on a budget this place is a good go-to option. If you are looking for a romantic fine dining atmosphere, you’ll probably want to look at the Matira Beach Restaurant not too far away or consider something else. The Snack Moi Here restaurant has simple food and drinks.
